Standing in front of a bus that will travel across the country, health care workers and people struggling to afford the rising cost of health care helped kick off the Road to American Health Care in Cleveland today.
The time is now for a new American health care system that makes sure every man, woman, and child in this country has health coverage they can afford. That’s why SEIU’s Road to American Health Care is making its way through battleground states on its way to the Democratic and Republican Conventions, stopping in communities small and large to highlight real people, real families, who need us to fix our broken system.
At a press conference in Cleveland, health care workers, SEIU leaders, and Ohioans struggling to afford their health coverage kicked off the bus tour. From Cleveland, the Road to American Health Care heads to Pennsylvania for events in Erie, Harrisburg, Scranton and Philadelphia. See you there!
